Claude accounts

The Claude subscriptions and Anthropic API keys belong to the organization, and the projects put them in a queue. The panel does the same on the Claude accounts tab of the organization.

1

Step 1: List the accounts

STATUS is the result of the last verification, USAGE the share used of the five-hour and the weekly window, and QUEUES the projects whose queues hold the account, with its place.

$ kcloud claude-accounts list

Output

KIND LABEL STATUS USAGE QUEUES ID
claude_oauth_token Claude Max valid no data Sandbox #1 0195a3c4-7e21-7b6d-9f40-3c81a4d2e600
2

Step 2: Add an account

--kind claude_oauth_token adds a subscription and --kind anthropic_api_key an API key. kcloud takes no secret from an option: it reads it from a file (--secret-file), from stdin (--secret-stdin), from the variable KCLOUD_SECRET, or asks for it.

$ kcloud claude-accounts add --kind claude_oauth_token --label "Claude Team" --secret-stdin < claude-token.txt

Output

Stored Claude Team (7e2d) as 0195a3c4-7e21-7b6d-9f40-3c81a4d2e600; the instance is verifying it.

A new account joins no queue on its own. kcloud projects accounts add, described on the Projects page, puts it in one.

3

Step 3: Rename an account

The label names the account in the panel, in the queues and in the commands of kcloud.

$ kcloud claude-accounts rename "Claude Team" --label "Claude Backup"

Output

The Claude account is Claude Backup now.
4

Step 4: Replace the secret

The secret is read as when adding. With --restart-agents the platform restarts the agents that work on the account, so they take the new secret.

$ kcloud claude-accounts rotate "Claude Backup" --secret-stdin < claude-token.txt

Output

Rotated Claude Backup to 7e2d.
5

Step 5: Verify an account

The platform checks the account with Anthropic again and records the result.

$ kcloud claude-accounts verify "Claude Backup"

Output

The instance is verifying Claude Backup; kcloud claude-accounts list shows the answer.
6

Step 6: Check the usage of a subscription

The command shows both windows of the subscription, when each resets and when they were read. --refresh reads them from Anthropic at once and needs an organization admin. An API key reports no usage.

$ kcloud claude-accounts usage "Claude Max"

Output

No usage of Claude Max was read yet.
7

Step 7: Delete an account

The platform deletes only an account that stands in no queue. Take it out of the queues first with kcloud projects accounts remove.

$ kcloud claude-accounts delete "Claude Backup" --yes

Output

Deleted the Claude account Claude Backup.
