Settings and people of the organization
The name, color, switch threshold of the Claude accounts, costs and people of the organization. The panel does the same on the Settings, Costs and People tabs of the organization.
Step 1: Change the settings of the organization
--switch-threshold sets the usage of a window of a Claude subscription at which a project moves to the next account of its queue, from 1 to 100 percent. The command also changes --name, --slug, --color and the logo (--logo <file> or --no-logo).
$ kcloud orgs set --switch-threshold 80Output
Changed Acme (acme).
A logo is a PNG, JPEG or WebP image of at most 512 KB and 2048 pixels on a side. After a change of the slug, scripts that name the old slug in --org or KIKIMORA_CLOUD_ORG need the new one.
Step 2: Check the costs
The command shows what the organization spent day by day and project by project, over the last seven days by default. Name another period with --from and --to written as YYYY-MM-DD.
$ kcloud orgs costsOutput
The organization spent nothing between 2026-03-14 and 2026-03-14. 0.00 over 0 runs and 152 sessions.
Step 3: List the people
The command shows each person of the organization with their role, the state of their account and their last sign-in.
$ kcloud orgs members listOutput
EMAIL ROLE STATUS LAST SIGN-IN ID anna.nowak@example.com admin active 2026-03-14T09:30:00.000Z 0195a3c4-7e21-7b6d-9f40-3c81a4d2e600 piotr.kowalski@example.com member active 2026-03-14T09:30:00.000Z 0195a3c4-7e21-7b6d-9f40-3c81a4d2e601
Step 4: Add a person
The role is member or admin, and --locale (pl or en) sets the language of the panel for the person. The platform makes a temporary password and kcloud prints it once on stdout; hand it to the person, who sets their own at the first sign-in. Pass a first password of your own from a file with --initial-password-file, or on stdin with --initial-password-stdin, never in an option.
$ kcloud orgs members add --email ewa.zielinska@example.com --role member --locale plOutput
Tq4mZ8vR2nKsW7xP Added ewa.zielinska@example.com to acme as a member. The temporary password is shown only here.
Step 5: Change a role
The role admin makes a person an admin of the organization, and member takes it back. Name the person by e-mail or id.
$ kcloud orgs members set-role piotr.kowalski@example.com --role adminOutput
piotr.kowalski@example.com is an admin of acme now.
Step 6: Disable an account
A disabled person cannot sign in, and their sessions in the panel end. The account and its history stay.
$ kcloud orgs members disable piotr.kowalski@example.com --yesOutput
Disabled piotr.kowalski@example.com.
Step 7: Enable an account
The command lets a disabled person sign in again.
$ kcloud orgs members enable piotr.kowalski@example.comOutput
Enabled piotr.kowalski@example.com.
Step 8: Reset a password
The command gives the person a new temporary password and prints it once. At the next sign-in the person sets their own.
$ kcloud orgs members reset-password piotr.kowalski@example.com --yesOutput
Tq4mZ8vR2nKsW7xP The temporary password of piotr.kowalski@example.com is shown only here.
